Think with Your Hands

Our Approach

Design/Build with us

An instructor on a ladder gestures at a partially framed building.

We believe that architects should know how to build, and builders should know how to design.
By uniting these concepts into a continuous feedback loop, we create better buildings and well-rounded tradespeople.

We Have a Course for You

From true beginners to professionals, we have a course for you. Most of our workshops are suitable for absolute beginners looking to dive more deeply into the trades, while others are perfect for professionals who want to "green up" their skillset.

All Are Welcome

We welcome people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences. Whether you've never picked up a hammer or have had a lifelong career in the trades, we have a place for you here.

Our campus is nestled in the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains. Set on 38 acres of woods and meadow, you'll find our woodshop, design studio, classrooms, dining hall, various lodging options, and abundant natural beauty. Enjoy the garden, trails, local swimming holes, and a range of outdoor recreation opportunities, all just steps from campus.

Our Community

Yestermorrow has a lot to offer and you will quickly become acquainted with our close-knit, small community. We usually have just 20-30 students on campus at any given time. Our vibrant environment is well-balanced between class time, socialization, and opportunity for peaceful solitude.
